The RZ-800 is an autofocus compact camera for 35mm film, introduced by Ricoh in 1991. It is also known as the Myport Zoom RZ-800, the Shotmaster Zoom Super, the Q-80Z, the RZ-880, and the RZ-780 Super. One of the most notable improvements on the RZ-800 from earlier compact cameras was its further sophisticated auto focusing system. It has a 5 beam active autofocusing system using over 600 steps with a spot-AF facility. The RZ-800 also has some unique features for a compact camera, such as Super-macroTV ModeSoft-flash Mode, and the remote control capabilities.
